Harry Potter Stampin' Up! 'Winter Owls' Birthday Invititation!

So to be honest, I've never actually WATCHED a Harry Potter movie.  When they came out I was WAY to busy raising children and working to take the time to sit down and watch 'television'... lol.  But I am blessed with a TON of grandchildren and a 'Harry Potter' Birthday is very popular now that 'themed' birthdays are a thing!

Each time, I search for images and try to come up with a card that reflects my interpretation of Harry Potter. I must confess I have come up with some 'unique' cards!

I remember my first. I used the owl... but I used 'punch art' out of circles. The body actually had REAL feathers!! I learned to shut the window when using feathers! Another, I actually used a Tim Holtz suitcase die. Inside I put personalized miniature Hogwarts letters and WANDS made out of small skewers, glue gun drizzles and stain!

This time, I used the 'WAY to soon RETIRED' Stampin' Up! Winter Owls bundle as the focal point for these invitations! I used some 'I Solemly Swear I am Up to NO Good' pins I found online as an extra little gift to the card.

So I think 'now' is a good time to start thinking of more ideas! Let me know if YOU have an ideas! Because with as many grandchildren and great-grands as I have, a request for more Harry Potter invites is SURE to happen!

I am blessed to have so such an amazing family, and it blesses ME to create these invitations for them. Card making is really a 'giving' craft... I feel I put a measure of love into each one of my creations. I hope they can feel it when they receive it.
